Rufous Hummingbird Plus Smoky Rising Sun Photos
Yesterday I went out to Antelope Island for the first time since April and I took hundreds of Rufous Hummingbird photos plus some of the rising sun.

The last bird I photographed high in the Wasatch Mountains three days ago was an adult Turkey Vulture perched in an aspen in a smoky haze.
Birds aren't the only creatures feasting on the ripe serviceberries in the Wasatch Mountains right now, Least Chipmunks are also gorging on the juicy berries too.
I did take some nice Franklin's and Ring-billed Gull photos in flight over the water of the marshes at the refuge despite the smoky sky.
This Western Grebe was preening and flapping on the Bear River in that glowing, smokey light not long after dawn.
The smoke-filled skies created interesting conditions during the sunrises I viewed in while in southwestern Montana recently.
