Some days are pure magic. Two days ago, at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma, this Coyote pup made the day as magical as it could be and more.

This Saturday, March 13th, is Swan Day here in Utah. It is a day to celebrate these large, white, beautiful birds that spend time here during the winter.

This Piping Plover image reminds me to try to photograph birds in other than perfect light. Sidelit and backlit images can be spectacular so I don't like passing up taking the chance that I might just get a great shot despite what some photographers think of as bad light.
