Urban California Gull In Soft Morning Light
Last week I spent a few minutes focused on photographing an urban California Gull in soft morning light at a pond close to home.

It does not matter where I am or what I am doing, I am never not looking for birds.
The first bird I photographed yesterday morning was an immature Cooper's Hawk that I found because I spotted a Red-tailed Hawk on a cliff face that the young accipiter decided to harass.
I had forgotten about photographing this Barn Swallow in a fog at the Lower Lake of Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge until I was going through my archives yesterday.
Just a simple post this morning of a female Cassin's Finch I photographed last May in Clark County, Idaho.
I've only had one opportunity to photograph Cassin's Finches so far and that was in the small town of Lakeview where the headquarters of Red Rock Lakes national Wildlife Refuge is located.
