I believe I made it to Arkansas just in time to photograph this migrating White-throated Sparrow. These sparrows spend the winter here but will soon head north.

If I hadn't been sitting exactly where I was at the time I was photographing the Belted Kingfisher I would have missed out on seeing this rare Northern Waterthrush.

Three days ago I was able to take my first of season Yellow Warbler photos when a male came up close to where I sat in my Jeep in a high mountain canyon.
