Eastern Phoebes prefer open woodlands, forest edges, parks, and areas near water sources like streams, ponds, and lakes. They often nest on human-made structures like bridges, barns, and buildings.
  • Eastern Phoebes eat insects, including flies, bees, wasps, beetles, and moths, which they catch in mid-air or pick from vegetation.
