*Please understand that I spend a lot of time in the field and may not be able to get back to you right away because many of the locations I photograph in don’t have internet access or the cell signal is very weak. Thanks.

Amazing series of Curlew fight! Didn’t know they did that. Thank you.

I just wanted to contact you because your Mom took a survey that I had conducted from my job AGD. American Directions Group. Sorry, I did not write her name down. She was so kind in doing the survey and she had so much to say about you. She actually gave me your website and that is why I’m writing you. I just wanted to say love your pics. Can I share on my FB page? If not I totally understand. I have many friends who are into photography. Just thought I’d ask. I live in Northern California and we have eagles and we are expecting babies soon. Take care, Jrene Brown… tanjrene@hotmail.com
Jrene, Thanks for writing and for your kind words on my work. Please feel free to share my web site on your Facebook page.
I’m always curious as to your choice of lens’ and exposure compensation, particularly the photo of the Pheasant in today’s post. Are you in manual or aperture mode and why did you choose to use -.3 EV. Looks like a snowy day looking at the background but yet a high ISO of 640. I belong to a photography club here in Litchfield, Illinois and am always on the lookout for compelling photos with explanations of the shot so our club members can discuss the image during our meetings but knowing what was in the photographers mind to make up the shot is most helpful.
Thanks Mia for your daily posts.
