Give Me Winter or Give Me Spring!
Enough already, if there isn't going to be a winter then bring on the spring!

For today's Friday Photos I am mixing it up a bit and posting images of Pronghorns, a Black-crowned Night Heron, a Long-tailed Weasel and an American Kestrel. Please enjoy!
I photographed these male Marsh Wrens during breeding season when they were calling on their territories, while the male and female are alike in most aspects the exception is that only the males sing. And sing they do!
This spring and summer I've a little been disappointed by how few Clark's Grebe images I have been able to take.
Cliff Swallows catch and eat flying insects of many species the wing so I adore them because they eat mosquitoes, an insect that I personally despise!
This is the time of the year that "midges" are as thick as flies on you-know-what at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.
Tt was the first time that I have ever seen a Northern Harrier building a nest. It more than made my day!
Spring seduces me. Refreshes me. It whispers to me softly to come outside and savor nature and wildlife.
I believe these two eagle pictures illustrate what changes the depth of field settings can have on the appearance of an image.
Late last spring I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph young Red Fox kits at Bear River National Wildlife Refuge in northern Utah.
Birds were scarce, the water level in the ponds was low so there were only a few shorebirds. On the way out of the refuge though we stopped to photograph some American White Pelicans and a few Double-crested Cormorants.
Two Grebe species that are often misidentified are the Clark's and Western Grebes.
It wasn't until I pulled the image up on my monitor that I saw that this duck was a hybrid, which turned out to be Cinnamon x Blue-winged Teal hybrid.
