Common Yellowthroats are small warblers with olive-yellow upperparts, yellow throats and breasts, and pale grayish bellies. Males have black masks with a thick white border above the mask.

I was thrilled to have an immature Common Yellowthroat out in the open and in my viewfinder two days ago high in the Wasatch Mountains.
