Last spring, I took this young Tufted Titmouse photo in the yard of my dear friend, Steve Creek, while I was at his home resting and recuperating in Arkansas.

I should be there photographing Tufted Titmice or the other birds of Arkansas today or tomorrow. Or maybe those of the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge.

I’m on a journey of sorts and I am stopping by Steve’s house for a bit again this year. We had so much fun last spring and I’m certain we will have as much, if not more fun, this year.

I’m looking forward to photographing all kinds of birds. Hopefully I will photograph some species I missed last spring. I dipped on Pileated Woodpeckers, missed out on Painted Buntings, and didn’t get the images I wanted of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers or Prothonotary Warblers. And more…

With both our sharp eyes and keen spotting abilities, I am certain we’ll find all kinds of wonderful birds and animals to photograph. We don’t miss much in the field!

Life is good.
