I’m visiting my friend and fellow photographer, Steve Creek, in Arkansas where I took images of this Tufted Titmouse at his bird feeder.
Tufted Titmouse in Sebastian County, Arkansas – Canon R7, f7.1, 1/800, ISO 2500, Canon Canon RF 100-500 mm at 500m, natural light, at a feeder
Yesterday it had been one month since I had a “real” camera in my hands and I am extremely grateful that Steve has loaned me a camera to use while I am here. I was feeling bird photography withdrawals very keenly.
I enjoyed the instructions Steve gave me on using his Canon camera. Even though I am a Nikon woman I am finding that his Canon gear is wonderful to use. I’m learning. Always learning.
Loving Arkansas and seeing Eastern birds again!
Life is good.

Beautiful shot in every sense of the word. The detail is extraordinary. Thanks Mia.
Enjoy your time with your friend – and the birds. To the max.
And thank you for yet another stunning image of a bird that is exotic to me.
Welcome to Arkansas!
