Western Meadowlark singing in spring – Nikon D500, f6.3, 1/3200, ISO 640, Nikkor 500mm VR with 1.4x TC, natural light
The song of this Western Meadowlark that I found two days ago on Antelope Island State Park was a wonderful springtime melody that I needed to hear. Listening to the song of the meadowlark created a peaceful moment of which lately I have experienced a precious few.
I’ve had too many plates spinning around this past week but I’ve gotten two projects completed and there is one more to go. That project will be finished later today and it can wait a few more hours.
What I need to do is hop into my Jeep and head out into nature. Breathe. Relax. Explore. Think positive. Take my time. Rejoice. Be who I am. Sing. Take wing.
And find birds.
Life is good.

My favorite bird song ❤
I hope you can sing, dance and marvel with the birds. Today and every day.
I love their song, I can hear it looking at the image. Hope you get out!
Although we hear the song of your bird’s eastern cousin, it is still sweet and clear!
Go. Sing. Let the birds find you.
Beautiful!!
