Snowy trees
It is still dark here in northern Utah but I can tell there is some fresh snow on the ground so I guess that makes this a white Christmas even if the white stuff melts before the sun comes up over the mountains. Or later today it might even look like the photo above. It is still too early to tell.
Snowy Peregrine Falcon
I’ve taken a lot of photos on Christmas morning throughout the years in all kinds of weather from bright and sunny to foggy, snowy and gray. I’m not sure what to expect from the weather here at all today but I know that if I do get out to photograph today it will be a gift.
I hope that your day is a gift today as well.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
Mia

Merry Christmas Mia. Thanks for another great year.
Glorious cooling images.
I hope your Christmas is wonderful.
Beautiful, the way the snow clings to the branches! Perfect for a Christmas photo, thank you.
Merry Christmas, Mia! Thank you for sharing your gift of photography and learning all year long!
Merry Christmas from Edmonton, Alberta! We got about the same amount of snow here. The mountains have had a few feet and there are avalanche warnings even in the front country. I think my friends may be snowbound for a few days yet in the Kootenays in BC but they need the rest. May it be a happy year of shooting the wonderful wildlife you love so much.Thank you for sharing your gifts.
Merry Christmas.
The snow is beautiful here in the Salt Lake Valley. Beautiful photos. Merry Christmas!
