Fish Springs NWR under a clear sky
I went wandering to Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge yesterday and it was delightful because of the clear skies, the cool weather and the grand views of the mountains.
There will be more scenic views to come of the desert oasis in the West Desert of Utah to come but my connection to the outside world is dependent on my cell signal which has been as skittish as the birds at the refuge.
Look at how clear the water is too!
Life is good.

One of my trips out to Fish Springs NWR happened during this time of the year and while I was there so was a gorgeous adult Bald Eagle that perched in the trees near the picnic area not too far from the refuge headquarters.

The lighting I had wasn't the best but for some reason I really like this photo of the American White Pelican on the wing over the refuge because of the contrasts between the whites and blues in the frame.

There are times when I feel as if I am riding out a storm due to circumstances or events that are out of my control I remind myself that all storms come to an end.

Crystalline blue sky; rugged mountains behind a clear, shallow, lake. Seems almost primal in its simple beauty. Wonderful pic Mia. Thanks.
What a beautiful Spring day!
Glorious. And I am sorry to read of the trailer issues.
There goes my “trailer jealousy”…hope its issues are ALL resolved soon!!! BEAUTIFUL SERENE SCENE!!!
Beautiful! Hope the new trailer is working well for you.
Not really. Lots of issues, including a messed up furnace with nights below freezing. I think me missing out on photographing a Golden Eagle I spotted was a bad omen.
I think looking into the water there is like a tale in Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. In the story they look down into the ocean and depths of unimaginable life. The water at fish springs is clear andhas layers of life not seen in other ponds.
The scenery takes my breath away! Gorgeous!
