I’ve been under pressure to finish up two non bird photography related projects by the end of the year and this morning I completed the final one ahead of schedule so I am now looking forward to having more time.
More time to answer emails. More time to reply to comments here on my blog. More time to cull images I have taken. More time to write about my journeys as a bird, wildlife and nature photographer. More time to photograph. More time to just be me.
The road ahead is wide open and I’m excited to move forward, to explore more, get lost in nature more often, more moments to enjoy the sounds of being in the wilderness, to enjoy more.

You are making me jealous, I have to return to work on the 7th! And that is not an easy road this year.
Hooray for increased freedom. And thank you, so much, for that chilly beauty.
Have a joyous new year Mia, and thank you for all the great photos and info on so many birds. You’re a wealth of information on ornithology
