I woke this morning to several inches of fresh snow on the ground, our first heavy snowfall of the winter in the Salt Lake Valley arrived just in time for Christmas Day. It is dark outside and I am not sure exactly how much of the white stuff there is but it looks beautiful and using the glow of the streetlights I can see that the snow is still falling.
I do hope to be able to get out this morning to photograph even if it is to just go down the hill and photograph a few birds at the local pond. Photographing birds on Christmas has become a tradition for me.
Wherever you are, whatever holiday you celebrate if you celebrate at all, I wish you joy and peace and hope that you will feel the love of your family and friends today and every day.
Life is good.
With love from me to you,
Mia

I’m thankful to you for your dedication, vocation, enthusiasm and talent. Have a happy and healthy new year!
Thank you all for your holiday wishes, I hope that your Christmas Day was peaceful and filled with love!
Merry Christmas Mia! I woke up this morning to temps in the low 70s and rain. I am hoping for snow soon.
hope you had a lovely day! It is chilly here – not as cold as you have it – I put out extra seed for the birds and the BIG FAT SQUIRRELS (the dog is trained to go bananas at that phrase)… Im worried about the new year. About the next four years. Fingers crossed that not too much of the damage wreaked by the Tangerine Turd and his cronies is permanent.
Merry Christmas to You too Mia.
Be careful what you wish for; on the Bountiful bench it’s now at 12″ and stil falling! Nice image.
We got a couple of inches of snow too last night and I am conditioned to think that a white Christmas is the only way to go (It shows off the lights and makes water for the wild life).Your image is lovely, enjoy the peace of the holdidays, family and friends and happy shooting in the new year. As you say, life is good.
Merry Christmas.
Ooooh, snow…
Merry Christmas, Mia. Hope the next weeks are filled good photographic weather and tons of your beautiful birds. John
Merry Christmas, it is beautiful out there. Thank you for sharing the beauty in the world with us.
Personally I can’t wait to get out there and walk in the stuff. We have at least 10 inches on the bench and it is still falling!
Seasons Greetings to you and yours Mia, and thank you for being a daily inspiration, no matter what’s going on outside.
Thank you for the frosty- fingered mornings, the beautiful images, for reminding me, daily, of the beauty that still exists, for being a warrior woman…I can’t tell you how much I value every bit of it!!!
Very creative image Mia… Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,
and may next year be filled with even more magnificent photos. ;-)))
Merry Christmas to you, Mia. I hope you don’t get snowed under & can get out to the local pond.
Beautiful image and message, Mia. Also wish you the Merriest of Christmases Ever.
