And I am answering her call.
It has been too long since I woke up hearing the sounds of Sandhill Cranes trumpeting instead of the sounds of the city. It has been too long since I stared up at the stars overhead without the city lights getting in the way.
I spent yesterday morning out photographing more Short-eared and Burrowing Owls but decided this morning to give my viewers a break from owls and share a bit of the scenery that refreshes me.
I’m not all that sure where I will sleep tonight but it won’t be in the city. I need a healthy dose of wilderness.

Life is good, right?
Mia
