Bear River Autumn – HTC One M8
Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge looks beautiful this time of the year so I took a few images of it with my cell phone and a short video when I was there two days ago. With clear skies overhead the Bear River was a crisp, clear blue and looked marvelous against the autumn colors of the vegetation on the banks of the river. The Promontory Mountains in the background add some interest too. Way off I could hear Tundra Swans and up close a chattering Marsh Wren.
You may need to turn your volume way up to hear the Marsh Wren and the sound of the water flowing down the Bear River. I’m going to need to figure out why my cell phone volume is so low when I record. The video is only 15 seconds long but it is relaxing. Enjoy!
Thanks for the pleasant video, which I could hear clearly with volume high on iPad.
Thank you, Mia.
Mia, I so love that place! It looks beautiful, and yes, I can hear the marsh wren! It has been awhile since I have seen Tundra swans. I can remember how the refuge looks when it is covered in them in winter! Thanks for the short video and your cell pic came out great!
Serene and beautiful. And real.
Wrens sound like they look…perky. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY…easy to pretend I was in either our canoe or a kayak…both a bit beat up now, but have good stories to tell…I do a lot of pretending these days…so glad I have real memories to base it on!!!
Enjoyed that m Mia.
Excellent. I could hear a couple of single ‘chip’ sounds. not sure if that is the wren? and the water.
Wonderful colors Mia
