Campsite, day 2
I can thank a Golden Eagle for showing the way to a new campsite near Torrey, in Wayne County, Utah. The eagle flew this direction and we followed it hoping to get some shots of it on the wing. I don’t think the images will be great but the campsite is! Quiet, great views and small birds in the pinyon pines.
Going up to Boulder Top
The campsite is near the road going up to Boulder Top and we did some exploring yesterday. I love this kind of country, it makes my heart skip a beat and the beauty makes me want to dance.
Aspens, Ponderosa Pines, blue sky and snow
There is a gorgeous stand of Aspens and Ponderosa Pines on the way up to Boulder Top that I would love to explore more one day to see if there are any sapsucker nesting cavities. One day, perhaps.
A few cell phone pictures from yesterday’s wanderings.
Life is good.

You are doing it sooooo tough at the moment. Not.
How beautiful. How heart-warming and inspiringly beautiful.
HI!
What a beautiful place to camp? I sure miss the years that Jim and I used to do it? When I see your photo’s I am there with you! Enjoying all the land and critters! Have a great time!
Absolutely gorgeous countryside! I especially like the first and second shots – they are my kind of place.
Oh, how I miss that kind of “eye candy”… Scenes like that always made me feel 100% alive, especially the morning air… Like that lttle yellow “bird”, too…reminds me of the one my Aunt and Uncle used to fly. They were both “plane nuts”…it was contagious….We had a model just like that one hanging from our ceiling…
