I can’t help but feel sad that we haven’t had any good snow here in the Salt Lake Valley yet this year so I went hunting for a snowy Coyote image. The day I took this I went photographing with two dear friends and even though the birds weren’t all the plentiful I loved getting a series of images of this Coyote. This frame reminds me a touch of Bev Doolittle’s art work. You have to look a little closer to see the coyote in this photo than you do with some of my coyotes images which is why I call this the Hidden Hunter.
Maybe the snow will start soon and I can get my fill of it.
Life is good.

Outstanding image Mia. Thank you. I had to cut the lawn yesterday — global warming seems to be delaying our snowfall, other than a little last month.
Great photo! We had a big snow fall a week or so ago and it was so beautiful but now having a warm spell and it is getting brown and slushy. Not my favourite conditions.
Breathtaking Mia!
Fantastic photograph! Amazing how such a large animal can “hide in plain sight”!
I was lucky to see three Coyotes hunting in a marshy area a couple of weeks ago but all I could manage photographically was an out of focus shot of their rear ends as they retreated!
Absolutely beautiful picture!
An absolute STUNNER. Thank you. So very much.
That is one great photo! Very marketable and would look great on any wall!
This is a wonderful image! I love the almost monochromatic coloration and the variety of textures. The colors themselves are very similar to ones Bev Doolittle often uses…especially the soft siennas against white. A beautiful beautiful image!!!
As always, a beautiful shot. He sure has his eye on something.
Magnificent Photo Mia !
Wow! Mia! beautiful!
