An Anhinga’s Bad Hair Day – Nikon D70, handheld, f5.6, 1/30, ISO 200, Nikkor 70-300mm VR at 300mm, natural light
If I were an Anhinga and stretching it even further if I were a male Anhinga this is what I would look like today. A bad hair day? Well, not really but I feel a bit frazzled and this Anhinga looks a bit frazzled too.
Life is good? Yes, I have to believe that.

This image was taken at Sawgrass Lake Park in Pinellas County, Florida in June of 2007. So long ago.

A little rumpled but still beautiful! Thank you 🙂
What a cool-looking bird and a nice introduction for me — I do like his looks! The big picture of life is amazing but individually can get tough at times. Hang in there Mia.
If only I looked that stylish when frazzled. An amazing shot – thank you.
Great shot! You are lucky to have such a variety of birds!
Wow, his feathers almost look like fur. He’s beautiful. Great capture.
