Pink Lotus in Auckland, New Zealand
I’m not sure why I wanted to do a post using images with pinks but here they are, a flower, a bird and pink kissed clouds.
I photographed this Pink Lotus in Auckland, New Zealand before flying back to the United States, I loved the combination of the soft pinks, the greens and the bright lemony yellow center of the flowers. It was a breezy day so I felt lucky to catch the Lotus while it wasn’t moving.
And here is a pink colored wading bird, a Roseate Spoonbill in flight over a lagoon at Fort De Soto County Park in Florida, one of my favorite locations.
Pink Clouds at Fort De Soto before a storm
And last; a photo I took at Fort De Soto County Park not long after the sun had risen above the horizon as storm clouds moved in. The only thing I photographed that morning was the clouds because I had to dash back to my vehicle before the rain started pouring down.
Just thinking pink.
Mia
I’m glad you all enjoyed my “pink” post with the Lotus, Roseate Spoonbill and the pink clouds in a stormy sky, thank you for your comments!
Superb!
Hi! What beautiful colors. Great pictures! Keep up the wonderful photo’s you do! Have a great week!
Wonderful photographs! Sort of easing into Spring with a pastel theme? It works for me!
Gorgeous, Mia. You make me love pink!
very nice combination of pink, thanks mia
have a nice evening ☺
Beautiful pinks, Mia!
All pink, clouds, flower, and not to be beaten, Roseate Spoonbill, fantastic.
Beautiful use of pint in each photo and just the absolute right time of the year!
Excellent work as always Mia.
Beautiful images, Mia. The lotus is stunning…
Ah, lovely. Very springy! That lotus shot is NUTS. I hear you re: praying for a flower to stop blowing in the breeze. And who doesn’t love spoonbills and clouds? =) Thanks for a lovely morning view.
Thanks for the pink post. I hope I can finally shoot a Roseate Spoonbill this time at De Soto. Nice to see the pink Lotus variety.
Beautiful, Mia!
I love that you did the pinks, since we are gray and really cold this morning it really made me smile! That lotus shot should be a painting.
The detail in each photo is incredible! The lines along each petal, the overlap of each feather, the contrast between the layers of clouds! They all feel so springy! I’m with you in rejoicing in pink!
