Forster’s Tern and friend
This Forster’s Tern image was taken several years ago on Fort De Soto County Park‘s north beach while it was resting on the sand as another tern was flying towards us both. I was laying on the sand photographing the resting tern for a low angle perspective.
I like how the low angle makes me feel that I was as small as the tern or at the very least felt like I was a part of the tern’s world. The tern in the background adds depth to the image that might not have been evident without it in the frame.
