Coyote on a Great Salt Lake Beach – Nikon D300, f6.3, 1/1600, ISO 640, Nikkor 200-400mm VR with 1.4x TC at 328mm, natural light, not baited or called in
I hope that no one is getting sick of my Coyotes images. I took this Coyote photo two days ago as it walked on a Great Salt Lake beach. The Coyote tried to sneak up on some Canada Geese out closer to the shoreline but they became aware of the Coyote after the Phragmites thinned out, the behavior was very interesting to observe.
Life is good.

I’ve made a lot of progress getting my new computer set up so things should be back to normal soon.
Keep them coming, Mia. I like seeing your wild pooches in their surroundings.
Thank you Maria, their varying habitats are as interesting as they are.
I for one don’t get bored of Coyotes, they are truly brilliant. This one is fantastic image, cheers Mia.
Thanks Bob, I don’t get bored with Coyotes either because they are such fascinating creatures. Thanks for your comment Bob!
I love the colors you captured, Mia. Good luck w/your new computer!
Thanks Tami. I have one email account that isn’t always working on the new computer and that might be caused by the ISP and not the computer.
Great photo, Mia!
Thanks Charlotte!
I love their thick luscious coats and those golden eyes. Are all coyotes eyes the same color?
Hi Fern, thanks for your comment. As far as I know all Coyotes have these amber colored eyes.
Beautiful! 🙂
Thank you Aristarkhos!
