Mating Halloween Pennants – Nikon D200, handheld, f7.1, 1/200, ISO 200, Nikkor 80-400mm VR at 400mm, natural light
I am fascinated by “things with wings” and that includes dragonflies like these mating Halloween Pennants (Celithemis eponia).
The day I took this I was wandering around Roosevelt Wetlands in Pinellas County, Florida in search of birds to photograph. The area has a high concentration of different kinds of dragonflies and when I spotted these two mating I knew I had to get some images of them.
Life is good.
