The temps are up all over the U.S. and almost everyone is feeling the heat, I know I am.
View of snow covered Wasatch Mountains from Frary Peak
I thought I would post another image that cools me down just by looking at it. This was taken the from the parking area for the Frary Peak Trailhead on Antelope Island State Park looking east towards the snow covered Wasatch Mountain Range in March of 2011.
Ahhhh
Mia
Truly an idyllic image. The many images of landscapes that you have are on the same parity as your pictures of birds.
Thank you Mathew, you are very kind.
Love it! Miss it! I know right where you were! Now I can pretend I am standing there with you!
I thought you might recognize the spot where I took this Kathie. I love that view!
Mia this picture is absolutely stunning!
Thank you Jennifer!
I like the prominent rocky foreground, and the cloud to top everything off.
Thank you Maria, I framed this so there would be contrasts between the cool colors and the warm rocks in the foreground, the contrasts of soft clouds and snow versus the hard surfaces in the foreground.
I agree with Carol…love the contrast of cool and warm colors.
Thank you Sheila!
Oh but for that gorgeous contrast of colors Mia. This is so soft and yet cool and oh, I like this image. Carol
Thank you Carol, when I framed this image I wanted to show the softness and color contrasts…
Ah…yes…lovely!
It never ceases to amaze me how people just LOVE summer and hate winter…ignoring the truth that summer is a killer, too.
I like winter, especially after living for five years in Florida. The air is crisp and refreshing. It got to 99 today, no new fires that I am aware off.
Thanks Zephyr.
Great image Mia!
Thanks Vincent!
It’s nice to soak in this cool, stunning scenic image on such a warm day. Lovely, Mia!
Thanks Julie, I’m glad you enjoyed this image.
