A simple but fishy post today of an Osprey that flew over my head at Fort De Soto County Park taken 5 years ago in Florida.

Osprey with a Flounder over the Gulf, Fort De Soto County Park, Pinellas County, FloridaAn Osprey with a Flounder over the Gulf – Nikon D200, handheld, f6.3,  1.750, ISO 160, Nikkor 80-400mm VR at 135mm, natural light, not baited

The flounder was large enough that I wondered how the Osprey could be gaining altitude. The Osprey; unlike some human fisherman, didn’t need to brag about his big his catch was and I am just grateful the flatfish didn’t fall on my head. No wonder Ospreys are called Fish Hawks, right?

Life is good.
